Posters of The Godfather that cannot be refused

“I’m gonna make him an offer he can’t refuse” – these are some of the most famous words in the history of cinema, spoken by Don Vito Corleone in the The Godfather. This movie is epic, it is often considered the greatest film ever to appear on this planet. It fundamentally changed the way gangster movies were made. Previously the gangs were depicted from the point of view of the outraged outsider, now they were shown from the gangsters perspective. I could go on for a long time talking about how many Oscars and other awards this movie won or how great was Marlon Brando as the boss of the Corleone family, but I won’t do that. Instead, I’ll give you these posters, let them do the talking.

Enchanting Posters of Audrey Hepburn

Audrey Hepburn has been considered one of the most beautiful and famous actresses ever lived and it’s really hard to argue with that. Not that I would want to. Her breakthrough came with the movie Roman Holiday and later she performed in Sabrina, My Fair lady, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Charade and many others. Audrey also remains one of the few people, who have won Oscar, Emmy, Grammy and Tony awards.
Funnily enough, she has once said ‘I never thought I’d land in pictures with a face like mine.’

8 Posters of Sci Fi Classic Movie Metropolis

When Fritz Lang directed Metropolis in 1927, he probably didn’t think, it would become such a classic and is still well remembered over 80 years later. It is also the most expensive silent film ever made. The movie is set in futuristic dystopia, where the city is divided between two classes – managers, living luxurious life in skyscrapers and workers, living underground. Freder, the son of the mastermind of the city, falls in love with Maria, a working class prophet who predicts that one day a man will come who can mediate the differences between two sides. Tagline of the movie was: There can be no understanding between the hands and the brain unless the heart acts as mediator.
